The Launch X-431 Master scan tool has a very good coverage of vehicles including Asian, Australian, European and American brands.
This product has a full 12 month warranty and 24 months updates included (update via internet direct from the Launch website).
AECS provides the technical support and has in depth scantool training available.
Currently the tool comes with 45 car brand software pre-loaded, most are 2011 factory editions.
Many protocols are almost identical copies of factory software.
2 year free upgrades (via Launch web site).

This Launch unit comes with 2 years worth of free upgrades. It should be noted that this Launch is a factory import, and therefore needs to be updated via the Launch web site. During the 2 years you can upgrade as many times as you like.
Future updates can be purchased for (to upgrade all brands) from AECSEquipment (Authorised NZ Launch Distributor). A purchased update will allow you to download as many updates as you like for a 12 month period.
