Information

The Launch X-431 Diagun scan tool is a smart hand held PDA. The hand held PDA communicates via wireless Bluetooth with the vehicle adapter.


Wireless makes it easy to scan the vehicle. No more "sitting around" in the car.

It has a very good coverage of vehicles including Asian, Australian, European and American brands. It communicates with 42 individual ECU's in the above pictured ML Mercedes.
It starts up very quick, it has the ability to show 10 live data lines in one screen.
Data graphing is in colour, on auto ranging scales.

This product has a full 12/24 month warranty and 24 months updates included (update via internet direct from the Launch website).
AECS provides the technical support and has in depth scantool training available.
Currently the tool comes with 44 car brand software pre-loaded, most are 2011 factory editions.

The Diagun can print via rugged 12V portable Launch printer (USB) or via cetrain types of commercially available A4 printers.

The Diagun can also be used via any PC or Laptop with additional software and a USB cable. This has the advantage of having a large display.

Updates:
Dear Customer.
This Launch unit comes with 2 years worth of free upgrades. It should be noted that this Launch is a factory import, and therefore needs to be updated via the Launch web site. During the 2 years you can upgrade as many times as you like.

Future updates can be purchased for (to upgrade all brands) from AECS Equipment (Authorised NZ Launch Distributor). A purchased update will allow you to download as many updates as you like for a 12 month period. The update price is exchange rate depending.
