The evaluation unit that is being trialed at the moment in NZ by diagnostic specialists proves in real life that it connects and 'talkes' to virtually everything you connect it to: Diesel, petrol, ABS, Immobiliser, dashboard, airbag, etc.
The tool can be bought with Asian software, European software or with both.
The software will not expire, updates are free for the first 12 months, and than they can be bought when you are ready to do so. Updating is via the internet.
The ST 6000 is a multi functional tool that can be used for:
PC interface. The scantool can be connected to the PC or laptop to get colour display and view on board wiring diagrams. Handy for graphing and reviewing live data.
Airconditioning diagnostic tool. The electronic sensors and diagnostic software that are an optional extra to the ST 6000 make it into an airconditioning diagnostic tool. The graphing software show the relation between pressures, temperatures and fan operation. The intelligent software will guide you to the A/C fault.
Dual channel scope. An additional module can be obtained to connect to the scantool to transform it into a dual channel scope.
Emission tester. The scantool can be used as a display for the BrainBee range of Petrol and Diesel emission testers.
Development
A list is available with on which vehicles the development department (40 engineers) is working, this list gets updated every 2 months like the application list and like the software in the scantool.
New connectors are added to the parts list every time a new vehicle connector becomes available.
