The BrainBee equipment range is represented in NZ by AECSEquipment.
This PC interface box is connecting your PC or Laptop to the Vehicle's computers to scan for faults and live data. It is available in a cable connection version (cable between PC and Scanbox) and its available as a Bluethooth wireless version.
The coverage on especially Asian vehicles is VERY elaborate.
The tool can be bought with either Asian, European, OBD software or with All.
The software will not expire, updates are free for the first 12 months, and than they can be bought when you are ready to do so. Updating is via the internet.
The AD 9000 is a multi functional PC/laptop based scantool that (with optional extra's) can also be used for:
Airconditioning diagnostic tool. The electronic sensors and diagnostic software that are an optional extra to the ST 6000 make it into an airconditioning diagnostic tool. The graphing software show the relation between pressures, temperatures and fan operation. The intelligent software will guide you to the A/C fault.
Dual channel scope. An additional module can be obtained to connect to the scantool to transform it into a dual channel scope.
Emission tester. The scantool can be used as a display for the BrainBee range of Petrol and Diesel emission testers.
Development
A list is available with on which vehicles the development department (40 engineers) is working, this list gets updated every 2 months like the application list and like the software in the scantool.
New connectors are added to the parts list every time a new vehicle connector becomes available.
