....As soon as the RPM falls within the required bandwidth, the countdown will start again so the engine fuel control functions have time to stabilize.
High idle test complete - return to idle speed
The emissions are stabilised after running at a stable engine speed for a period of time, indicated by the counter in lower right hand corner of the screen. After the counter has finished the emission gas values will be automatically stored in the tester’s memory, and the tester will indicate to decelerate down to idle by showing a large yellow arrow pointing to the left.
Hold idle speed within band width
The tester will show the desired idle bandwidth in the bottom of the screen and live emission values.
It will show two yellow arrows indicating to hold the engine speed stable. Once the gas values are accepted to be stable by the tester it will progress to storing and printing of the values.
Automatically a report will be generated, and shown ready for a printout.
